China is certain to be a leader of education in the future as many other countries rest on their laurels and hope for the best. To be on the ground in China in a changong time is so special. All over the world teacher's strive for the same things but the 'don't be sad' is so nice and a thank you from a child goes so far in making a teacher's day. Our blog from over here in Australia also takes an ESL perspective as well as a British background for comments and tries to provide some educational fun in everyday activities. Please feel free to come over and have a look. In teaching, a the best teacher is the one who never stops learning! <a href="http://beourbest.blogspot.com/" / rel="nofollow">http://beourbest.blogspot.com/ </a> I think your blog/site is really interesting.

We work hard to make every lesson perfect. Teachers enjoy constructing successful lessons. We like to be happy and successful. But some lessons don't work, and our students need to see our emotions as we try to figure out why the lesson did not work and what we need to do to make the lesson work the next time. Students need to see our successes as well as our failures—these "up" and "down" experiences are part of everyday life. Dear Ms. Wang,

I think this lesson was fantastic! I'm constantly trying to convince the teachers I work with to suppourt and encourage their students and offer opportunities for them to express their abilities and talents, especially the weaker students. I will show them this report. Hopefully it will help to stimulate a realisation that this is what (Chinese) children need. Keep up the good work. It is all too often the students who already have proven talents who get new opportunities. It seems important to not forget the quiet kids. At the same time, any activity in which only one person is singled out will leave others dissatisfied. What I am curious about is how the students who had speech experience reacted after their initial dissatisfaction about not being chosen. Very interesting. It is a very moving and characteristic example of what rural education can be like. It even highlights the advantages that rural schools can have over urban schools (which urban school has beekeepers 15 minutes walking away?). I think we should make this example known to the wider world. This is really exciting. It is a very moving and characteristic example of what rural education can be like. Other students were also interested but not as much as the original group. The fourth grade teacher didn’t have time in the schedule to make this into a whole-class or cross-grade activity so we had to find times during recesses and “nap times” to do the visits and make the books. Since this required special permissions, it was easier logistically to keep this project just to the original group of boys who sparked it. We discussed how they wanted to present their knowledge to other students and the boys decided on making books for the library. Other students have now read the books and they sit on a shelf in the library for all to browse. Hi Leandra, thanks for your comments!
