Christmas isn’t usually celebrated in rural China. However, the Guan Ai students and teachers remembered the Western holiday was coming up and went all out to make it special for the RCEF staff here. Last night (Christmas Eve), I walked on to campus surprised to see a lighted up tree! It had the students’ cardboard game pieces as ornaments, lots of ribbon, and a paper Santa Claus face. All day, students came up to give us hand-made cards and wish us a happy holiday. They were some of the most precious gifts I’ve ever received. I was very touched by the students’ and teachers’ thoughtfulness and caring. Their love made it a unique, unforgettable Christmas. Click “read more” to see a couple class letters to RCEF. 敬爱的RCEF组合:
