RCEF was officially started on April 28, 2005. That means that today we are 3 years old. I can’t believe how far we have come in just 3 years: we now have 4 long-term programs in China, 4 full-time and 2 part-time staff, 80 active committee volunteers, and about 100 Volunteer Program alumni. We are a highly visible organization and have built strong networks both in and outside China.
We have achieved all of this thanks to the hard work and good ideas of our volunteers, staff members, consultants, and advisors. Of course there is still much to do, but I am confident that we will become more and more successful in our mission: to promote education for people in rural China that helps them to improve their lives and their communities.
If you want to give RCEF a birthday present, please go to this page and make a $15 donation. Our goal is to get 100 donors in two weeks. All donations go directly to RCEF’s programs.
